Round 2 Garstang

The 2nd round of the winter league was played at Garstang, the day started off a bit moist but only for a couple of holes, it did get a tad draughty on the back 9 tho, once again preferred lies were the order of the day.

Mike Lomax's decision to change his clubs at the Captain's weekend looks to have paid off, a 1 under par 67 gave him top spot, whilst Chris Hartle bounced back well with a 70 to claim 2nd spot, Captain for the day Jason Lee didn't fare quite as well a net 86 led to the horseshoe for the golfing guru.

There is a 3 way tie at the top of Div 1, Mike Lomax, Trevor Orrell & Paul Molyneux all on 10pts after 2 rounds, down at the bottom John Light (yet to make a appearence) props up the rest with Bill Peach just 1pt above

In Div 2, Terry Doyle(10pts) extended his lead at the top to 3 pts, 6pts for Chris Hartle shot him up to 2nd place, but Alan Unsworth, Howard Wadsworth & Martin Winstanley are only just behind in what could be a very close promotion race.

Kevin Lloyd made it 2 in 2 games with a 11 on the 355yd par 4 4th, Stuart Surples on his debut also had a 11 on his card at the 530yd par 5 12th
