This Years Captain's Challenge
Captain’s prize 2012-2013
- The competition will be a best putter competition based on league matches throughout the full season.
- Each marker of a card will record the number of putts each player has on every hole
- This will be tallied at the end of the game and the score sheet will be populated by the captain
- There will be no weekly prize, but an average putting level for the season will be calculated. (Average putter will probably score around 35-36 putts per round)
- There will be prizes for top 3 at the end of the season, additionally there will be a prize for lowest number of putts in a single game.
- A booby prize for highest average will also be presented.
- Prizes: 1st £25 or equivalent, 2nd £10, 3rd £5 and lowest number of putts £10
- Booby prize TBA
- If a scorer fails to mark a particular hole then a 4 will be recorded retrospectively.
- Missing games will not hinder the player’s potential to have a decent average.
- Having said that, a minimum of 10 games will be required to be eligible.
- Any valid points missed may be added to this list after consultation with the committee.
