Hi, thanks to everyone who supported the Tommy Roberts Memorial Golf Day yesterday, it was an excellent day made very special by the turn out fom both present members and the large numbers of ex society members who attended, thanks also for the terrific sponsorhip, as soon as everything is sorted out I will let you all know the financial details.
One of the highlights of the evening was the attendance of Russell and Rachel Roberts, it was great to see them both and I can tell you that they had a terrific night, as we all did.
It is pity that Chris Parry is not a member now, he would have got a very good Bog Seat nomination, he sold two half used books of draw tickets without noticing that they were the same colour, we ended up giving two prizes everytime a number was drawn, it could only happen to Chris.
