January Meeting
Following Terry Daly's recent resignation from the golf society, new officials were proposed & voted in by the members
The new President is one of our founder members Les Molyneux, Trevor Orrell has taken on the role of society secretary, with John Light taking Trevor's place on the Handicap Committee
The Society would like to thank Terry Daly for his sterling work over the past 18 years as secretary & hope he doesn't stay away too long, he will be a hard act to follow (but not impossible)
In other news it was decided by the members that the draw for the league games will now revert back to being drawn at the relevant golf clubs on the day of the game.
We have good news regarding sponsorship for our Majors, there are just the Rowson pairs, Presidents Shield & Valley Windows that haven't been sponsored as yet, please try your best to help your society.
Our next 3 games have been confirmed, these are 13th Jan Malkins Bank 10-20 tee with the usual bacon butty on arrival, 27th Altrincham 10am tee & Boysnope 10th Feb 10-30 tee.
A deposit has been sent to Frodsham for our game on 24th Feb the cost is £30 for bacon butty & a brew, 18 holes with a buggy & a meal afterward, bargain!!

Southport Birthday Bash, 12 lucky people will be playing Royal Birkdale on Friday 15th March, deposits have been paid by bank transfer today
