The postcode for the Golf Club is BL9 6TE – however if you use this postcode some satellite navigation devices can direct you via MATHER ROAD. This route takes you along an un-surfaced bridleway which is unsuitable for most vehicles.
To avoid this route please use the postcode BL9 6RU – this will direct you to The Mason’s Arms pub on Walmersley Old Road. From the pub proceed across into Bentley Lane and pass underneath the motorway. At the end of Bentley Lane take the first sharp right onto White Carr Lane. Follow White Carr Lane, bearing left up the hill. The Golf Club is at the top of the hill.
Please take care on White Carr Lane as this is a single track road with passing places

Situated on the hills above Bury, Walmersley Golf Club offers spectacular views across Manchester, North Cheshire and Merseyside.
Established in 1906, Walmersley Golf Club has undergone many changes which have now culminated in a challenging 18 hole, 6064 yard Moorland Course with a Par of 71 and SSS of 70.
It will be doubtful if Visitors will have played a more interesting and challenging course which will provide Golfers of all abilities with a memorable day out.
